PSHS YOUNG READERS SHINE IN AREA 6 AND DIVISION LEVEL INTERPRETATIBONG PAGBAS

Five selected students of PSHS coming from different grade levels brought home the champion in the 2019 Congressional District VI contest in Tagisan ng Talento particularly in Interpretatibong Pagbasa last September 5, 2019 at San Isidro, National High School, San Isidro Isabela.

The team in the Interpretatibong Pagbasa were composed by Lyka Joy Viloria-Grade 7, Precious Nicole Estilong – Grade 8, Jay Ar Sagun –Grade 9 and Mary Jane Loria a Grade 10 student. According to them, they were given 10 minutes to master their piece and 3 minutes for the presentation. With the assistance of their coach, Ma’am Wilmae S. Doroni, they delivered properly the piece which led them to get 1st Place. While on October 7, 2019 the team competed in the Division Level held at Reina Mercedes Vocational School, Reina Mercedes Isabela and garnered 2nd Place. They say, “Practice makes perfect”, plus the presence of patience, hard work, cooperation, determination and with the help of all their supporters they can achieve their goal and unexpected things may happen. As a reward to their hard work, the participants received cash price from their very supportive principal, Mrs. Precilla S. Romero and certificates from the schools they had competed.
INTERPRETATIBONG PAGBASA– Four students of PSHS (center), garner champion in the LD VI Tagisan ng Talento with their coach and school principal.
