PSHS students bags 2nd Place in the Division Science and Technology Fair

Three Junior High School students from two competing schools in Echague joined force to represent Legislative District VI in the Science and Technology Fair and won 2nd Place in the Division level.


Two of them were Grade 9 students of Pangal Sur High School namely Trisha Mae D. Flores and Jay Ar L. Sagun. With the help of Mrs Emiliana D. Caluya, Master Teacher I their coach and adviser, they garnered second place in the investigatory project. However, one of them was from Ugad High School namely Jerald Paul M. Metran bagged champion in poster making contest with his coach Mr. Jesus G. Salvador, Master Teacher I. The division Science Technology fair was held at San Antonio National High School, Delfin Albano, Isabela last October 17-18 2019. It was a part of the celebration of Science Experiment in which various schools participated. These three students emerged as one to get the cash prize which is 1, 500, trophies, medals, and certificates of recognition. Although the participants from PSHS did not make to the regional level, still they have given pride to the school. The team presented a Science Investigatory Project- Life Science (SIM) in connection with Leaf Extract against Mosquitoes, which carried them to get the champion during the LD 6 Science & Technology Fair, held in Ugad High School, Sto. Domingo, Echague, Isabela last September 13, together with Jake M. Iganacio a Grade 11 student who also garnered 3rd Place in poster making contest.
